I thought it was neat that they are taking a stab at "hard science scifi" The effects look great given the budget, The acting and some of the dialog?...eh, it's a fan produced labor of love. But I think it will get better, it definitely doesn't make the show unwatchable. I really like the concept of this show, and I would like to see a few more eps. It's not perfect, but you can tell there is heart in this one. they (the actors and everyone involved in the project, but some love into it.) I'd say check it out at least to encourage more shows but it's up to you of course....

With everything downloaded online this could be the future of SF.

If i would be Lucas i would try to raise the budget for the next movie from the fans.

Its be nice is some director decided to start using fan fic production methods.

i.e. a director does a remake using those effects and production and replaces the subpar actors with folks with talent.


Anyway my only real complaint is the warp drive nonsense.

I really cant understand the fascination with rocky algae covered planets, when you have oneil cylinders.

People live in cities for a reason, having a massive gravity well and atmosphere seems like the last place one would want to go if you were free from earth.

Free from political forces, unlimited primary resources, total enviromental control, no massive problems caused by air resistance, nor a massive gravity well to climb out of.
