Does Spock die in this one like Kirk died in generations?

I think I have a idea. What if Shatner does not appear in the movie because Nimoy was approached first and demanded so much money that they couldn't afford both and Nimoy demanded a script that was specifically writen about the Spock character and would not participate otherwise. Say we have a script in which the Romulans have captured old Spock during Reunification while he had gone underground. The Romulans use a mind device or other things to probe his mind for a way for them to go back in time to defeat the federation abd destroy Vulcan. As the torture continues we see Spocks past where the Romulans are focused on a specific mission on the Enterprise where young Spock and Kirk or Pike are revealed to us. At the end of the movie old Spock sacrifices himself and defeats the Romulans plans. Shatner passed the torch to the Next Generation and Nimoy passes the rorch to the future generation of the original Enterprise. That could be a distinct possibility huh?

Star Trek XII: The Spock That Wouldn't Die!

It could be a horror film, a new idea for the franchise. Maybe we can get Rob Zombie to direct it. Heavy metal music, Uhura dressed in chains, everyone wearing bold tats. I can see it now.

I was thinking that too, but I just thought I was reading too much into it because I was reading about Daryl Davis yesterday.

Old Spock goes back in time, dying, and deposits his katra in the NuSpock, who now commences on new adventures with precognition, changing history, and raping my childhood!!!! :-)

For those interested, any doubt there might have been with the previous thread has been resolved with this one. Moving right along...

Re: Does Spock die in this one like Kirk died in generations

I really doubt that Spock will fall off the twisted wreckage of a bridge on the nexus planet because the character that Roddy McDowal played died in that movie.

So no, I don't believe it to be a distinct possibility.

er.... :wtf: huh?

Actually, he got killed a few weeks ago by Michael Myers.

Ironically, Myers was wearing a Captain Kirk mask at the time.

That is, without a doubt, the FUNNIEST thing I have EVER read on these boards. I've always thought it pretty cool that Myers wore a Capt. Kirk mask throughout the Halloween movies (albeit, a really ruined mask) and most people had no idea that was supposed to be a Kirk mask. But that...that's so hilarious...and so fitting. I might have to watch the new Halloween movie just to witness this twisted sense of Karma!

Malcolm McDowell, "Soran" in "Star Trek: Generations."

"Rod" or "Roddy" was a nickname he earned during the filming of "Caligula."

True fact. Now you know.

Actually, the REAL Roddy McDowall was rumored to be exceptionally well-endowed, a la Milton Berle!

Where's T'Baio? I haven't seen him around in ages. He could tell us about how Scott Baio continues this Hollywood tradition.
