Think about it! If poop didn't smell then people wouldn't be grossed out about it. If Cavemen didn't have a problem with it they proably would have eaten it.
The fact that poop smells bad ,actually serves a function that helps society. The fact that something even like poop's smell serves a function sort of disaproves the notion of random evoution. Everything has a point to it from our need to eat to the very smells we produce.
