Does anyone watch shows out of habit?

I used to, unless the show was real bad, until I simply became fed up with new television programming. I dumped "Stargate: Universe" after the pilot, as I recall (or maybe it was the next episode after). And I gave the absolutely crappy "Dollhouse" WAY TOO MUCH chance. Sorry Joss, but this was not just a swing 'n' a miss, but a swing 'n' loosing the bat, which flies into the audience, whacks them on their heads, sends them to the hospital, puts them into a comma where everybody thinks they are gone, but in reality they can still see and hear, then are forced to watch the show on TV as teeny boppin' nurse has "Dollhouse" on. Very painful.

I did this with the first two seasons of Heroes and Enterprise, but they just got so horrendously bad that I couldn't stand it and had to give up.

I watched the first series of Enterprise out of habit but i gave up on series two when i realize what i was doing.

That is the rare show that to me actually improved once the third season (and for some the fourth) came around but alas it was too late.

Funny but it was the second season that I nearly dropped the show, there are even a few episodes that I actually skipped but I'm glad I stuck around.
I did go back to the show during the third series after hearing it got better.
If i ever find a job and some really really cheep enterprise DVDs i might give the series another go
At least on DVD i can FF the eps where i wanted the bad guys to blow Archer up.

That may be the funniest hyperbolic rant I've seen all month, and I read Cracked pretty regularly. Congrats, good sir! :p

I myself finally got tired with Scrubs two or three episodes before the fifth-season finale and stopped watching... even though I own the fifth-season set. So there they sit, unwatched; but then, the show had gotten so self-recycling I figure I'd more or less seen it already. Too few characters, too little drama.

That I think is the funniest thing I have ever read on this site!

Right now, it is 24, but last year it really was BSG. I wasn't that big of a fan of the series like it seemed everyone else was (Thought the show lost it after Resurrection Ship) but still watched to see how it ended.
