Does anyone remember Nana Visitor in this late '70s horror film...?

Does anyone remember this horror film from 1977 called The Sentinel, directed by Michael Winner (of Death Wish fame) and based on a novel by Jeffrey Konvitz? It stars Cristina Raines as a New York fashion model who moves into a Brooklyn brownstone with a mysterious blind priest (John Carradine) who constantly gazes out the top floor window (at what??) It's also got an impressive roster of well-known cinema faces including Ava Gardner, Jose Ferrer, Arthur Kennedy, Burgess Meredith, Eli Wallach and Martin Balsam - and an impressive roster of future well-known cinema faces such as Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum, Jerry Orbach and Tom Berenger...as well as a future regular on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine! :D Does anyone remember Nana Visitor in The Sentinel?

Re: Does anyone remember Nana Visitor in this late '70s horror film...

I've watched the Sentinel 2 or 3 times on latenight television over the years. I don't remember Nana in it, just because at the time I saw it Deep Space 9 didn't exist yet so I had no reason to recognize her. If I ever see it again I'm sure I'll pick her out in a second.

I would also like to add that, in The Sentinel, Nana Visitor was credited as Nana Tucker, which is her actual birth name! And she appears towards the very end, getting in only one two-word line! ;)

I don't remember Nana in that movie but I do remember Terry Ferrel in Hellraiser 3. Now that was a good one. :techman:

No but I do remember in a guest spot on "Night Court" as a lost mental patient. who was going to screw Dan Fielding.

I think this young man sold me some REO Speedwagon tickets back in the old days.

Joe, or was it Loverboy?

Looks like someone spliced Kira's DNA with Ezri's..

I think she's cute.

Aaahhh, I just creeped myself out a bit. She actually looks a bit like Wesley Crusher in the pic on the right.

Did anyone see her when she had a cameo as a patient in a BSG episode? Twas a 3rd seson episode I think.

Re: Does anyone remember Nana Visitor in this late '70s horror film...

Maybe it's i'm older; but Ms Tucker/Visitor looks almost obscenely cute to me. I must try to track down a print - it must be around somewhere (perhaps even legally)

I did see The Sentinel back then - i saw EVERYTHING back then (anyong else up for a double feature of L'Immortal & Last year at Marienbad?) - but the only memory that survives was that this Michael Winner film lived down to the same low standard set by all the previous Michael Winner films. He was a real hack - a producer who directed the way Ken Lay directed Enron - but he had a flair for finding pretties

I wonder how does this cameo compare to her hot tub cat-fight in The Spirit? THAT is really worth wasting time chasing a dreadful film down for

Re: Does anyone remember Nana Visitor in this late '70s horror film...

Nope... but I recognized her in her 30 second cameo in the Friday the 13th remake! :techman: . She was the only saving grace in that movie.

That wasn't a cameo, that was a full-on guest spot.
