Does anyone not like the Millennium Falcon?

I was thinking about something. This ship is so iconic and so beloved that it has never even occurred to me that some people might not even like the look of the ship. Both exteriors and interiors. But people have all sorts of variety of tastes so someone out their must have these feelings? Anyone here happen to be one of those people? Me I love it. Didn't much care for the slight alteration in "Solo" but it wasn't a big deal.

What is the Ebon Hawk? Not up on all the ship names, especially the newer stuff.

The Millennium Falcon is one bad-ass MF.

She's easily in my top three favorite sci-fi craft, alongside the TOS Enterprise and Tantive IV. Rounding out my top ten in no particular order: Mark IX Hawk, Thunderbirds 2 and 3, Discovery One, B-wing, TMP refit Enterprise, Imperial Star Destroyer.

Star Wars: 4
Gerry Anderson: 3
Star Trek: 2
Kubrick: 1

My top 5 ships would be

1 Millennium Falcon

2 TOS Enterprise from TMP. I am all in on that ship porn scene.

3 Galatica from "Battlestar Galatica" The modern version.

4 TNG Enterprise=Show made me a Sci-Fi fan thus it gets certain breaks other ships don't.

5 Vipers=Also from, Battlestar.

I'll be honest, if I could any ship from Star Wars to myself, it'd be the Super Star Destroyer. The Falcon's fine and all, but the SSD is where my boner is.

Its appeal is in its homeliness. It's like a really messy space winnebago or what an old WWII B-29 would look like if it were converted into a home.

I always assumed we were not supposed to like it; at least not until later in the series. I always thought of it as akin to a 1960s Oldsmobile with a V8. Your Dad gave it too you in the 1970s to take to college. At first you hated it (because it was not a Vette), but then you installed a kick-ass stereo, then racing tires, a tuneup and soon you were tearing up the roads with your girlfriend in the passenger seat. Now you look back on that old "hunk of junk" with fondness and affection.

I never liked the big satellite dish on it. I feel like it looks a lot better with the slimmer look in "Solo" and the sequel trilogy.

I like it. The MF is like one of the cars that George Lucas had drag racing in American Graffiti.

It's an iconic spaceship design. Along with the TOS Enterprise it's one of the few fictional vehicles that have made their way into the public consciousness and practically anyone can instantly imagine.

It is one of those ships that feels like its also a character within the story. The TOS and early movie era USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) felt like that due to how Kirk and Scott treat her. Space Battleship Yamato also is like that in her own series.
