In his final moment in Beyond, on the newly launched Enterprise 1701-A, Kirk turns to Sulu and says:
‘Mr Sulu - can you... ya know... do that thing? Ya know...’
James Kirk then makes a circular motion with his hand.
Sulu raises one eyebrow: ‘Buckle up Captain!’
The Enterprise then proceeds to jump to warp, performing a barrel roll just before engaging the drive.
The crew are all shaken up, due to inertia dampeners being turned off - but they all concede it was well worth boldly breaking the Final Frontier.
From that moment on they become known as ‘The A-Team’!
