Does anybody here do yoga?

I was just wondering if anybody here has a regular Yoga or even ‘Pilates’ practice?

If so, which styles of yoga do you prefer and what level do you practice at? Do you find that these exercises help with other fitness routines such as running, weights training or overall well-being and holistics? Does yoga help you with recovery from any injuries or medical conditions?

Namaste and prosper :-)

I use it for stress reduction. I'm trained in a child specific method called Yoga Calm. I just practice it in office or at home for stretching and self-soothing.

I do it after a long hard day of work to de-stress and relax.

Other cool ways of developing calmness and self-soothing are reading, writing, singing, artwork or crafts, cooking, general exercise... doesn’t have to be Yoga. Just find something that takes your mind off the stresses of the day, and we all find this in different ways. It’s good to get physically fitter at the same time too though which is why I like Yoga.

I’ve been doing a lot of adult gymnastics over the past few months too, it’s fun. :bolian:

What do you do to take your mind off things and maybe keep fit at the same time (bonus!).

I read primarily. I'm trying drawing but that is a slower process. I've also been practicing my handwriting to improve it. I prefer a lot of different activities, like bike riding and cooking. Makes me feel accomplished.

This is the type of yoga that I do:
