Documents/PDFs/Downloads Sticky?

Hello

New here but have been reading some threads for a while and something came to my attention with some, we have a number of members here who have posted downloadable versions of their work in their threads, (Hobbyist's Guide being one of the biggest).

So I was thinking is it might be an idea to have a thread where all of these files can be linked to, for example as well as the above we also have The Illustrated Guide to Starfleet by Crazy Eddie and the Starfleet Chronology by Richard Mandel. I figure creating a thread where all of these can be linked to and updated when necessary might be a useful thing for the Trek Tech readers around here.

Any thoughts?

I'll consider it. Generally, it's been easier to simply leave them in their original threads because sometimes those threads are dormant for a while before any updates happen.

Ok since I'm looking for a certain webpage I thought I'd ask here as I don't think there is a 'looking for' thread, I'm looking for an essay that was written regarding the construction of Excelsior class ships over decades instead of a shorter term, many being put into storage as a fleet in being and then brought out to replace older ships as they wore out or were destroyed.

Anyone know this at all?

It doesn't ring a bell, though I'm sure the idea has cropped in any number of fan works. I don't know if yotsuya would know anything since he's been working on some Excelsior projects.

What is this The Illustrated Guide to Starfleet by Crazy Eddie? I have never heard of this.
