Doctor Who - The Forgotten 6 SPOILERS

Wow I thought that 10 was just calling the bug "Valeyard" sarcastically because it was a tried and bested scenario.

Missing pages. That's just rediculous.

This comic was crap.

I really should catch up on the 10 doctors web comic which is afuckingmazing.

I wanted to pick this series up, but the art was just atrocious.
I quite liked Pia Guerra's artwork. Kelly Yates (on issues 4 and 6) was an adequate fill-in artist (though whoever described Yates' fourth Doctor as "Steven Moffat in a fright wig" nailed it). Stefano Martino on issue 3 was a disaster.

Hey thanks for the tip. I just started reading it and it's freakin fantastic! Only about... 1000 pages to go. :D

I hadn't thought about that for a while! I need to hunt that down again soon. Cheers for reminding me of it's existence :)

Thats fantastic, cheers :)

I used to keep up to date on LiveJournal, but lost touch with it when I deicded I didn't want to read much else on that group.

I must have stopped about ten pages in - but as I can only remember two things (one of the being a Rose joke) I look forward to reading it again.

Once my sites/servers are fixed that's the first thing I'll be reading to enjoy my relax time. Well second as I'll probably log back in here...

I read a few pages' worth of that a while back, and got some enjoyment out of it, but even for a premise like that some of the fannish business was a bit overdone; three panels in and we're "fixing" the Doctor's age...

I just let it go and roll with the fun. It's all ten Doctors, nearly every damn companion, villain, and associate, as well as some fanfic incarnations thrown in for good measure. And, it's a relatively balanced, accurate, and most of all fun story. So, I have to give the creator ("Rich" someone) props on his talent and imagination. And, in the end, it's his story and he can do with it as he pleases.

I especially enjoy the pic he did last Christmas...

Up there in panel 7! Now that's a comic I want read! The era where Four and Romana's relationship where they were mushy and clingy and almost on top of each other... :)

It's like how (character) Jerry Seinfeld and Elaine went from lovers, to friends and then lovers again and back to friends...

I just finished issue 6, and loved it. It's not perfect, and I don't give a damn. It's a six issue fun romp, and the final appearance by the multi-companion made my heart skip a beat while I screamed for joy.

*very, very happy*

:wtf:Did...you just compare the Doctor to Jerry Seinfeld?!?:wtf:

Like JD and Elliot from Scrubs? Catherine and Jeff from Babylon 5? Julia and Mason from Santa Barbara?

Oh come on. If there's any American television equivalent to The Doctor & Companion, it would have to be Muldar & Scully from X-Files. I mean, the freakin' shape-shifting bounty hunters had to be killed by being stabbed in the back of the neck. Hello, Sontarans? ;)
