Doctor Who Series Five Soundtrack or Lack of One

^ Most likely it will considering that I'm still predicting a Feb release for the series five soundtrack. It's really unfortunate that this wasn't caught during the mixing and editing process for the album and on the track that most fans are eager to here too lol.

I'm just curious, other than the normal sites (itunes) where have people heard this as I can't find it - if you could be so kind to PM a link, I will be very thankful.

They're still fixing the problem with the glitch on I AM THE DOCTOR dunno when Amazon is planning on re-releasing it. It should be up on Itunes now.

Silva Records made an announcement that they pulled all the remaining Doctor Who Series Five Soundtracks from various outlets and are fixing the glitch on I AM THE DOCTOR and plan on re-releasing the CD in the near future. There's been no date given yet for the re-release. Still no North American release date either but this will possibly come after they fix the glitch.

All right, so the Series 5 soundtrack was released this week in North America. I just listened to mine this afternoon and I wondered what everyone's favourite tracks are, especially the UKers who've had it for a while longer than us.

Here are my faves so far:
1. Doctor Who XI
I like this theme, a longer version that includes the "middle eight", though I'd hoped we'd get the opening titles version too.

9. I Am the Doctor
This one features the Doctor's action theme, though I think I actually prefer the much shorter "Onwards!" at the end because it omits the middle portions and just sticks with the core theme, and also really kicks into gear the way "I Am the Doctor" doesn't quite do.

18. River's Path
I really like the sound and scope of this one. It's epicness makes it feel like it belongs in a big screen movie -- I just wish it was longer!

21. The Life and Death of Amy Pond
When I first heard this music in the episode, right then I couldn't wait to hear it on the soundtrack and it doesn't disappoint. You can pretty much visualize the imagery that belongs with the music, right to the end of the episode.

22. Onwards!
As mentioned below, I love that this very short piece sticks to that main Doctor theme. I think this is the one that was used in all the trailers early on for the show.

Over on iTunes there's also the bonus tracks "Emotions Get the Better" (from Victory of the Daleks") and "Impossible Choice" (from "The Beast Below")

Those are all among my favorites as well. "I am the Doctor" is the best of the new Doctor themes yet. The previous two were sad and sedated and kind of other worldly, fitting for their incarnations considering the guilt they felt for surviving the Time War. I like the fact that Moffat and Gold wanted a bombastic hero theme for the 11th. While it still clearly affects him, he's over it a little now and doesn't brood on it that much. He's the Doctor!!! He's actually come along way since returning to the Earth to find the Nestene all these years ago now.

Really looking forward to the A Christmas Carol score next month. It was supposed to come out last week but was bumped back.

Yeah I'm fairly upset about that. I'm pretty anxious to hear Katherine Jenkins' track. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole special!
