Doctor Who Series Five Soundtrack or Lack of One

Yeah I have that one. You just have to turn it up a little louder and you'll hear in the background

"i'm a girl! no! no!"

Yeah I just literally saw that link...very cool news. My guess is that we'll get series five in November near the release of the box set.

They made the announcement on their facebook page..albeit almost causally. So it's now officially confirmed for Sep 20.

Just read that Silva has announced the series five soundtrack for November. Details on both are supposed to be coming soon.

Or..

Cd1 - The four specials.

Cd2 - Unreleased music from the David Tennant era.

It's been a while since I've watched all of the Specials, but was there really enough good music in those 4 episodes to warrant a double CD? A single regular season, which contains way more music, only gets one after all.

I believe that "The Waters of Mars" and "The End of Time" contained original scores from Gold. I don't think there was that much new material from "The Next Doctor" and I don't remember "Planet of the Dead".

Well, End of Time is 2 parts and has almost enough music to warrent it's own CD, that could be CD2. Cd1 would be TND, POTD & WoM

Yeah originally that was what I was thinking...End of Time has like film score length music for it. I think everyone's anticipating Ten's regeneration music from the end of the episode, I know I've been waiting for it. I also hope the Master Resurrection music is included because I enjoyed that.

I remember hearing complaints in The War of Mars about how much music was recycled.
