Doctor Who Series 2010 Full Ratings Round-Up

The Doctor Who Prom, hosted by Matt and Karen, is on Friday, July 23, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm
It's actually on the 24th. You made me freak out and think I had got the wrong tickets. In I go to watch Doctor Who and I get Mahler. I would've been heartbroken.
It's both 23rd and 24th:

Followed by a second prom

It's Saturday, the 24th at night. Then an encore Sunday the 25th in mid-morning. The other nights have other performances.

Friday the 23rd is Tchaikovsky.

But if you read the newspapers

What Newspapers? Supply some links and you'll have a point, until then, it just sounds like you're talking ballshit.

And when I say a Newspaper, I mean one I can physically hold in a printed hard copy and not some excuse for news on a website.

LOL! I love how you contradicted yourself just there! Good on you, mate! ;)

As for links, I'll just point you to the excellent Doctor Who in the Media blog at http://doctorwhointhemedia.blogspot.com. That guy keeps exhaustive track of the various media (at least online media, but that includes all the major UK newspapers that have websites). Work your way back through the season and you'll find plenty of examples.

(Obviously watch out for finale spoilers galore if you haven't seen the finale yet!)

How am I going to survive until series 6 starts? Who wants to form an 11th Doctor support group with me?

Rewatch the series because it's so entertaining? I skipped a few confidential's so i'll try to watch those.

BBC proms are in a few weeks

Christmas Special

Then the short walk to home with 3 months till the new season.

Also, the underappreciated Sarah Jane Adventures has its fourth season this fall and for the second year The Doctor will be appearing in an episode (with the return of Jo Grant, yet!). Added novelty value is provided by the fact it'll be the first (and probably only) time we'll get to see how Russell T. Davies writes for the Eleventh Doctor.

Also, depending where you are located, the Australian-made K-9 spinoff series is supposed to get some broadcasts on Five in the UK and I think a Disney-related channel in the US. So many people are dissing it I fully expect to love it, so I'm looking forward to it showing up. And I'm not just blowing smoke. I was convinced by so many people on this board, the old Outpost Gallifrey discussion board, and other places that SJA was a trainwreck, until I actually sat down and watched the thing and realized it was a much better show than I thought it would be. I'm anticipating something similar with K-9. And if nothing else they have John Leeson doing the voice again. That's worth watching the show for, right there. (Just like SJA would be worth watching for Lis Sladen if for no other reason, though now they have the woman who played Habib in The Thin Blue Line appearing in the show as one of the kid's mums there's even more reason to watch).

The difference between the Sarah Jane Adventures and K-9 is evident when you consider that one was devised by Russell T Davies, and the other by Bob Baker.

No contradiction there at all.

Supply a link from say: The Guardian, The Sun, The Independent or any other British Newspaper which has a web presence and I'll be happy as I can go out and physically hold the paper with the story in aswell.

Now link to say MSN, Yahoo News or some other excuse for news and I will take your claims with even more scepticism.

Oh and having a quick look at that link, it seems to just be numerous non news sites and just a handful of actual, bonafide newspapers.

just a handful of actual, bonafide newspapers.

Well theres not that many UK national newspapers anyway even less when you dig deep and find out many are owned by the same guy. So handful is good, Daily Mail for one always complain about BBC shows and want the whole station axed so theres 1 for you and a big one.

Smith wil be around for his full contract so no worries :p
