Doctor Who S7 Wishlist

So in other words she became an exile, and went into seclusion and thus avoided the fate of her Gallifreyan peers?

That'd be my personal theory, yes. Romana, along with some sympathizers and friends (including Leela), might have escaped from the Time War in E-Space or some other method of hiding.

I could get with that. Wouldnt bother me in the slightest. I was a big Romana fan back in the day and even wrote Lalla a fan letter when I was 14. She never wrote back but I still like how she played the part.
So there. I said it. I wish Romana could come back in s7 or in the anniversary year.

I would happily cheer if Romana returned but who would play her if Lalla Ward turns down such an offer?
I doubt she would, considering that she's done quite a number of audios, but if she does, they could always explain it as a regeneration.
I'm certain Lalla would do it, too, but I would be surprised if they asked her back. I highly suspect they would instead get another actress to play her.

Rachel Weisz. Make it so.
Considering recent crossover news, shouldn't that be "make it geronimo"?
Touché.

As for the hows and whys, everything Turbo just said is what I've always thought to be true (including Leela, K-9, Susan, Drax and a few others hiding with her).

In S7, I would not like to see the Silence. If they show up again, then faking his death and all of S6 was for nothing!

Not necessarily. If they follow up on the theme of how the Silence will fall, the Silence will return at the apparent end of Matt Smith's doctors life.

I have this image in my head of Matt Smith giving Lalla Ward a great big hello kiss when the Doctor & Romana are first reunited. I think that very cougar-ish image would be very interesting.

I'd like to see the Rutans come back. Maybe do a really dark episode stranding the Doctor & his companions right in the middle of a devastated Sontaran-Rutan battlefield.

I'd like to see an episode set in Earth's distant past during the height of the Silurian age. Just take one of your normal Earth-bound stories but turn all of the usual human characters into Silurians and show just how human Homo-Reptilia really are. (It would also be interesting noting all of the differences on the Earth back then prior to the arrival of the Moon.)

Ice Warriors.

Sontarans vs. Judoon.

Silly but could be fun: The Doctor goes back to the 1960s and meets all the guys from Mad Men.
