Doctor Who references in Sam & Max

Anyone here ever played this gem of episodic adventuring? Episode 4 of season 2 is ripe with Dr. Who references, including old Sam from the future in a Davros-looking wheelchair. Oddly enough there are also space sombreros in this one, something that might particularly intrigue Trekbbs regulars.

Ah. Apparently geekdom isn't as unified as I had thought. It's a series of story-driven puzzle video games starring a humanoid dog and a rabbit doing detective work on outrageous cases involving mass hypnosis, alien invasions, zombies, satan etc. Based on a comic book. There was also a Saturday morning cartoon a while ago.
