Its nice that the BBC let us share for a change. Of course, if like me you want an mp3 version to listen to later, theres still the 'alternative means' route.
I don't know, maybe its the fact that Gold has toned down a lot of his themes this year, but to me the music didn't seem quite as epic as last years show. Except for Vincent, I couldn't really identify most of the musical themes. Not meant to be critical though. It was all still amazing. I can't believe I got all teary-eyed (again) when they played Tens regeneration theme toward the end.
I rather enjoyed Dance of the Daleks during the intermission. Interesting stuff on the history of DW music. I'd love to see an expanded, hour long version on one of the dvd's someday.
Props to Arthur, who sounded great. And jeez, what it it with Karen? Matt turns up on stage and its suddenly nothing but giggle fits.
Can't wait to see the tv broadcast next month (according to the announcer), if nothing else, than to see what the crowd was applauding.
Come on! Lets have those Specials/Series 5 albums!
