Doctor Who "Motivational Posters"

Even considering the bankrupcy - there are still rather more DeLoreans out there than TARDISes (esp. since the Time War).

I'd still prefer a TARDIS though...
Especially if it came with a resident Martha. Yum!

Great pics everyone, BTW!

:D

Hmmm... Martha on the one hand, Christopher Lloyd on the other... Errmmm... Which way would go...?

These are great! I love Number Three and Number Ten in particular. Great shots and great comments. Nice work. :)

Those are simply hilarious!

The ones provided in the link are terrific too, especially, Camouflage? What the hell is that?”

One of my favorite Doctor Who inspirational posters was a photo of the Sixth Doctor with the caption, "Camouflage? What the fuck is that?"
nah, it's "Camouflage? What the hell is that?"
from here

I like the ones on this thread better, though the Sixth Doctor and Tenth Doctor ones are funny on that page.

Cheers!

Yeah The's are better because he's actually worked under the premise of motivational pictures, the ones on that thread are amusing, but they're not truly done in the style of motivational pics.

Thanks for the props.

But, now I'm just having fun. Here's some more, including (finally) my lame versions on Number 1 and Number 2.

PLEASE NOTE that the very first Hartnell one was not done by me. I found it over on Outpost Gallifrey and thought it was great...

Oh I love the Jacobi one!!

I'm so tempted to do some Blakes 7 ones now!

What are the origins of the Tom Baker pic btw?

From what I gather, it's a shot of him celebrating with his co-workers (working on a construction site at the time) when he won the role of The Doctor. Someone took the shot, and it surfaced years later when his Doctor had become so famous, and someone was doing a story about his life or something. That's the story I've read, anyway.

Thanks Dak. I knew you would...

I like that "End of the World" one, not to mention "Regeneration" :)

auntiehill, I like your find there too :bolian:

Sorry to take so long to answer: the b&w one, the one with all the "hmmms" and "young mans." Funny stuff.

The picture of Peter Davison really drives home how good looking he was--he looks like Chase from House. He was the odd man out among the older and unconventionally hadsome gents who preceded him but he'd fit right in among the last 3.

Found this while Googling--thought it was worth a giggle.

Nice poster.

Of course Time Traveling cars are good too, but the Police Box has more style.

I would really love to see more of these from others here. EMH, I know you've got it in you. Starkers? Sci? Bueller?
