Doctor Who A Visual Dictionary!!!

Ask and you shall receive...like clock work. I was browsing on both Amazon Canada and UK and came across this..for some reason it is called Doctor Who Visual Dictionary 10 which is probably just a typo. The UK Amazon has it listed as its normal title. 144 pages. My guess is that we are going to get series five material included in this update! It's listed for August. I can hardly already wait. The second update that came out last summer was an improvement over the first which was disappointing except for the Tardis interior lay out and the Dalek layouts. I'm sure we will get updates for the rest of the specials which weren't mentioned in the previous update as well. They did up to the Next Doctor which got a small box on the last page.

Probably not a typo. The "10" is probably to differentiate it from the previous edition which is still available.

I was originally looking forward to this book when the first edition was announced, but like too many of the recent reference books, it mostly focused on just the 2005-present series and I wanted it to be about the whole show back to 1963. They could have done it, but except for the occasional oddity like "Companions and Allies" which does feature the whole series, the general attitude is the young readers these books are aimed for don't care about the old show.

It's probably a correct assumption, but they forget that they probably sell more copies to old farts like me than they do some 10 year old! ;)

^ All of the Monsters Guides have well-acknowledged the new series, as has the kiddie mag Doctor Who Adventures.
