I would of loved to see more of the battle with the Valliant ? from what I know that ship is supposed to be a tough and the Dalek never broke sweat it seems.
I don't think the BBC can afford to show us a big space battle no matter how much i would like to see it i think they have spent there money on F1
Is it true the budget for BBC drama has been cut from £240m to £200m for next year?
The entire budget has been cut. The licence fee increase is below inflation, and they have so many outgoings for things like £500m for helping under privileged people upgrading to digital, digital switch over costs, and HD equipment, etc. The main cuts are coming from factual, current events and children's I think I read.

I thought that was odd, in an all out war why would he try to save Davros, I can just about understand his actions with the Master, but not trying to save Davros
Perhaps if he could save Davros, he could have helped create a ceasefire?

Well they could get rid of BBC3 and 4 anything worth watching on those channels ends up on bbc2 anyway.
That way we can get our space battle for doc who

Thing is, you could perhaps reason with Davros, whereas with the Daleks you don't have a chance. Davros might have been persuaded to call a truce if it looked like the Daleks wouldn't win without almost being destroyed. The Daleks, on the other hand, were created by Davros to see all other life as a threat. They'll NEVER stop. Davros might.

Well, old Davros anyway, before he went all "let's expose my internal organs!".

I hope Luke does more next episode, he really didnt do alot, if it wasnt for Donna, I would think he was the key to stopping this.

why the Judoon were involved with the Shadow Proclamation - who, incidentally, have yet to show up... (?).

the Doctor said the Shadow Proclamation were 'galactic police' or something similar. so those albinio women WERE the SP and the Judoon work for them, since the Doctor told Martha they were police in Smith and Jones...

for the person who wanted it...

as for the episode FANTASTIC!!!

of course, DT's not leaving. he's in the xmas special remember?

of course, how they resolve that, will be interesting as hell...

loved the Doctor telling Donna off when she was asking about Jack and Rose being narky about Martha. Not threatened by Donna though...

When Martha left at the end of last season I wasn't that bothered. I'm not looking forward if we do have to say goodbye to Donna.

Rose has always been a bit bitchy when it comes to the Doc and other women... she's likely comfortable with Donna since she seems to know enough about her that she's aware Donna isn't interested in the Doctor. But Martha is a very attractive young woman who Rose hasn't seen before...

Martha was attractive the new hairstyle that makes her look like a boy isn't doing her any favours though.

When Davros first appeared did anyone else catch some of the music that was used in Genesis of the Daleks?

I know of one actor who would love to play The Doctor, but today he confessed he was too old and didn't have enough hair....David Hewlett.:)

Excellent, certainly, but I fear it went a little over the top. It was a bit chaotic and all over the place. It tried to cram so much in that I'm not sure everything got its due.

I remain feeling sorry for Donna. As i pointed out in a previous thread, despite the fact that she's supposed to be the main companion for this year, she's been pretty much sidelined for the whole season. We've had Martha, River, Jenny, Rose, Jack, Harriet and Sarah Jane all taking some of her limelight.

However, I now fully believe this is a deliberate theme. She believes herself that there's nothing she can do, she's nothing special, she's just a temp. 100 words a minute, what's that worth? So there's obviously a twist coming there, that somehow Donna is the most important one of all. Just... how?

How many specials are there next year by the way ? Is it 4 including the 2008 X mas special for 4 in 2009 ?

Yeah, I think that next week will be where Donna turns out to be the most important person in the world. Universe. Whatever. :D
