there was also some rumor months ago about robert carradine taking over

Didn't see that ending coming at all, I don't expect the BBC to be able to keep tennants departure a secret

No, and beating yourself into a week long coma doesnt work! SOB SOB.
anyone wants to help me break in to the BBC to get the next EP there northing worth watching so it does not matter what show we take off the air.

I'm in! I shall be away next Saturday, so dependent on the recording working! Won't get home till Wednesday week... how will I survive?
Are you near a pc there all ways BBC I player.
Just thought if i were to break in to the BBC don't think i should post it on the internet.

I think i've jsut got to say WOW

Seriously they have managed to capture the essence of the word 'epic' in this weeks ep, it's got so much going on, so many things which have been seeded over the new series, the shadow proclamation, the missing planets (really didn't get that one till today - avoided spoilers!), the bees (can't believe that was something), real references to the original series! I mean WOW!

All the characters were so good, it was wonderful to see them they all played there characters well, and just the way they worked together, harriet jones spot on!

And talking about companions, who loved the speed the credit's rolled through, i mean so many people! and then of course davros, even i knew that was coming, i rewatched genesis with my girlfriend the other night and it was so creepy still and they nailed him tonight!

And that ending oh my GOD! I also noticed the hand a scene or two before, i think if he does regenerate then that wins best kept secret/ biggest misinformation campaign ever!

Next saturday can not come quick enough!

Depends whether I can stream it through a T-mobile dongle! If so, I shall excuse myself early in the evening (since I shall have been driving 10 hours) and watch it in bed.

I tried but they had heavy defences. I thought that nuclear explosion effect in last weeks ep was just a SFX shot but apparently wasn't, survivors in scotia nova will back me up.

Dependant on coverage of course, you should easily be able to stream it. Although you may be better off downloading it, it may take longer for you to get it, but at least you'll have full quality, no buffering, etc.

As for the episode, I'm going with Fantastic. Of course it didn't live up to expectations, that trailer made me far too excited for it. But it didn't fall far short either. so it gets a big :techman: from me.
Also, that ending, wow. I guess they took the complaints about spoilers from the trailer to heart, since there isn't one.

Has soon as he said to Donna anything ells i said BEES:D but did not click on with the plants till it was explaned to me

Oh yes, the pick-ups from the rest of the series were all there: the medusan cascade, the shadow proclamiantion, the disappearing planets and of course the bees... how many other themes have been hinted at?

The signal sounded awfully like the drumming the Master described... maybe he was hearing the Medusa Cascade (and what was inside it) subconsciously?

I still don't get how this is "happening in all universes simultaneously", so there's something going on we aren't aware of yet...

Please tell me I wasn't the only one who noticed the drums in Donna's "head" when she was sat on the stairs in the Shadow Proclamation?

Detailed blow by blow account of my feelings on this, in-depth analysis as I see it:

WOAH!

Right, with that out of the way...

Nice music when the Daleks finally manage to pull a big ID4 style invasion, though I do wonder how viewers unfamiliar with the spinoff shows felt.

Voted "fantastic" obviously

You were, because everyone else realized that was a classic "hearing your own heartbeat" sound effect and not the drums at all. :p

Whether that foreshadows anything...

I just checked on iPlayer - it sounded more like a heartbeat. It went "Da Dum" instead of "Da Da Da Dum"

Outstanding - even better than last week's, and I was concerned that it wouldn't match up.

Dalek Caan stumbles into the Time War - it worked for me, and I was pleased that it had the consequence of turning him crazy.

I think I can cut short most of my comments by saying just two words: Daleks... EXCELLENT!

* "My vision is NOT impaired!" ROTFLMAO!
* The line about males, females and descendants... very Dalek.
* Then there was the proof of the age-old line about Daleks - "They don't climb stairs, they level the building." Oh yes, and how, as they exterminated the lone protester.
* And even the Daleks and the former PM... "We know who you are!"
* "Daleks do not accept apologies!"

And, along with most other posters, I really didn't see the end coming. I too thought that the Dalek would exterminate Rose, and didn't expect him to zap the Doctor. HOW did the BBC keep that one quiet? Kudos to them for that. And as for the continuation - I really don't mind if they stick a reset button all over it (one second out of synch and all that) or if they follow on with the consequences, just as long as the reset button is adequately explained.

I shall have to rewatch the episode again to notice the drums while Donna's sitting on the stairs - I did notice something but thought it was background music. I was just wondering why the Judoon were involved with the Shadow Proclamation - who, incidentally, have yet to show up... (?).

Can't wait for next week...
