Do you think Kosinski was psychotic in Where No One Has gone Before?

He looked like he was a man about to snap at any moment ,and the way he spoke...oh boy

Some serious sick leave seemed to be in order.

I think he was just one of those cloistered science-types who just needed to be out amongst real people a bit more than he seemed to have.

Nah. He's just a bit odd. No hallucinations or delusions. Some eccentric beliefs (possibly even shading into overvalued ideas, maybe), a lot of arrogance and narcissism, but no psychosis. :)

After all these years, I still don't know what to make of the guy. He believes that his formulas are ground breaking even though every other engineer believes they are complete bunk. This I can understand because he's being played by the Traveler and there has been improvements made to the warp drives of the other ships they have been on. It's after the Traveler's little hiccup, however, when he still believes that he is somehow resposible for the burst of speed that makes me think, man this guy is more than just a little off.
