I like it aesthetically. However, I had hoped to be able to work the film into the canon continuity, but with this ship, I don't see how I'll be able to do that. Oh, well. I guess when I see the show I'll just have to put it in an alternate universe and deal with it.

It looks too retro for the sake of being retro. Like, far more retro than TOS was. More than it needs to be.
I like the bridge interior - because it looks retro AND futuristic. Plausible.
But the exterior is too much retro, not enough futuristic. And it makes it look small - like a 1940s pulp sci-fi rocket ship, not like a starship.

Actually I love the ship! So yes
I'm afraid I can't give a definite vote either way. Apart from the saucer, I'm gonna need some time to warm up to this boat.
