Do You Like Skittles?

I used to eat a lot of Skittles, mostly the tropical ones. These days, I lean more toward chocolate... any chocolate. Preference given to bitter dark chocolate with nuts, nougat, caramel or hot chilis added.

But for surviving high school, that was pina colada-flavor slushies and sour cream & cheddar Ruffles. That awesome nutritional decision came back to bite me. *sigh*

Two points:

1. You guys had slushies that tasted like alcoholic drinks in high-school?

2. Damn I just know I am not going to be able to get Rupert Holmes out of my head all day now.:scream:

Once upon a time I discovered "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and liked it. I watched the entire 7 season set of those consecutively during a surprisingly short period. I also distinctly remember buying a 5 pound bag of skittles at about the same time which I consumed while watching the show. I never ate a single skittle before or after that event.

I love Skittles but why the hell are Wildberry so difficult to find? Everywhere I go it's tropical or fruit or some shit. Everyone knows Wildberry are the best. They are victims of either poor distribution or... something else. That sucks.

I love those too! But you are right. I can't find them anywhere these days. And I have to say, those tropical ones taste like soap and are not my favorite candy.

1. Yes. They also came in Bahama mama (and regular flavors like orange, lemon-lime, and blue raspberry).

2. Bwahahahahahah! My favorite song EVAR.

I use to love Skittles, but like the original poster, my teeth are to bad to chew them now.

Not a fan of chocolate, so Skittles win. But I just eat certain flavors. IF no one wants the left overs flavors, I'll throw them away. But I've cut out Skittles and almost every single candy in a meanuever to to remove sugar from my diet. Mostly.

I LOVE the wild berry ones!

I also love my bookstore 35% discount on them.

What I really like are Gummi Life Savers, or any soft gummi candy, like Starburst gummis, and Swedish Fish.

I am indifferent toward Skittles.

If I am going to eat candy in little pieces like that, I'd rather have peanut M&Ms. But I've not even had any of those in a few years.

My favorite flavor is the orange. I save those until last.

I save the orange & lemon for last. I guess that makes us anal retentive or compulsive or something.:)

More than Skittles, I love Lemon-Heads. Those I can eat way too many of given the chance.

The few times I have had Skittles they made my physically ill, so I haven't tried them in a long time. And no, I do not like them.

There's an element of nostalgia.

In junior high school we were too young/nerdy for drugs and alcohol so we'd have a sleepover, get "baked" on Skittles and watch Star Trek TNG, play 8-bit Nintendo.

^ Oh my! We did the same thing! Except we drank Mountain Dew too. Talk about getting jacked up. Skittles and the Dew together could give someone heart palpitations.

And I wasn't allowed near the Nintendo though. I kept getting pissed and hurling the controller at the tv.

Sometimes I dump the Skittles out on the table, divide them by color, eat the individual colors until all of the piles have an equal number of Skittles, after which I eat five (one of each color) together until they're gone.

So it seems like I've got a little Obsessive Compulsive Skittle Disorder too.
