Do You Create Music?

Music is Life. I have been involved in creating music on my own and in bands since HS. I am going to get back into it for me and my own entertainment but will share it with the world via the internet. I thought there was a thread about this before but was just seeking advice.

As far as my music I plan on mixing pop/music with metal/vocals. Like many of mash-ups or Vs type vidz.

Bought my first guitar last month. Currently creating noise. Aspiring to one day move up to music.

Played bass guitar in a very literal garage band both in high school and college. We did a lot of covers of stuff from U2, to Faith No More, to the Jackson 5. We did try to do a couple of original songs before we eventually had to stop and go out into the real world, but we never got to the point beyond doing live demos (on cassettes, to show how long ago that was).

These days, I just play bass to my favorite songs every so often, but I tend to come up with sometimes very different bass lines that still fit them.
