Do we have an MLS thread?

Yeah, I realize US Soccer isn't the greatest soccer in the world, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to have some thread discussing it. Anyone else following it?

Either way, I think I kinda just wanted to post because the Philadelphia Union just won 6-2 against Toronto FC today in Toronto. I think most Americans would watch soccer if they were six goal games (well, at least if your team was the one scoring six goals :p ). So, gloating aside, is anyone following the season?

I keep meaning to keep up on the Revs, but I don't know which channel their games are broadcast on (outside of Fox Soccer Channel) so I always keep forgetting. They seem to be having a middling season so far, though.

How are the two newcomers (the Timbers and the Whitecaps) doing? It's nice to see MLS expanding. Once they hit 20 teams I think they should stop there for a while, though.

I've kind of started liking the Sounders, but it's kind of like Arena Football to me.... interesting sport, but not able to follow the same team throughout the season without a crappy live stream or paying $$$ out the wazoo.

Being a Toronto FC fan is just as frustrating as being a Leafs fan, most likely because they have the same ownership.

For those that can't watch it locally, I feel sorry. It does seem you're probably not going to catch a game on TV unless it's the LA Galaxy.

I would watch it more, if they actually broadcast games in my region of the country. As it is, I already subscribe to a sports tier that includes Fox Soccer. But i refuse to pay MLS an additional fee to watch their channels. So, in a good week, I can watch 2-3 games and, in a bad week, no games. In short, it's a mixed bag. But, the sport is growing on me.

Now if I could only get ESPN to broadcast more Aussie Rules football in HD, I would be set until college football season starts in September.
