News DNS Outage

Sorry to say the DNS provider used by TrekBBS currently appears to be down, which in turn means many of you wont be able to access the site. Of course you probably wont read this post until it springs back to life. Fear not the actual board is running, it's just the signposts that are missing!

And we are back. Issue seemed to start at 1400 UTC and were resolved at 1530 UTC.

And down again, and up again. I think I'll speak to the site owner about switching DNS providers. The yo-yoing in making me dizzy

Just in the process of selling our souls and moving to the new (DNS) provider. Hopefully as caches and systems update over the next hour or two things will settle out and become stable again as far as DNS resolution is concerned.
