Looks pretty cool to me.

I know absolutely nothing about this but wasn't there a similar movie about 20 years back?

There have been a few in recent memory.

Sandy Duncan as Peter or GTFO :D

Just kidding.. And also that shows how old I am. sigh... This does actually look quite good. Plus it has a heck of a cast.

On edit: Not sure how I feel about Jim Gaffigan as Smee, on second thought. Patten Oswald seems more fit for the role, but who am I to say?

I've been meaning to check out Pan, but I never have gotten around to it. I know it didn't get very good reviews. Now, the '03 I have seen and really enjoyed, and Hook has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.
There was also the Syfy miniseries Neverland, which was a Peter Pan/Capt. Hook origin story.

Not a movie (as of yet), but there is a musical called "Peter and the Starcatcher," based on a book co-written by Dave Barry (yes, THAT Dave Barry), which serves as a origin story for Peter and the Lost Boys. It's fun, cheeky and over the top. If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it. My wife was in a production of it recently and had a blast.
