In the background, Ted Sullivan seems to be very chatty with Michael Trucco - and seems to guide him along at one point. Could this suggest a role for Trucco - is he the casting for the heretofore unannounced Voq (or the original XO of the Disco' before Burnham steps up).
 
While I'm still positive about the shows quality allow me to be the party pooper.

Almost always these Twitter mini non reviews are positive to glowing. Those invited are usually predisposed to loving to subject matter. Its always tough to find a lot of these where the tweets read "it was fine" or "totally not worth your time".

So I always take these as a less than objective grain of salt.

Or, and follow me on this, it could be good.

I mean really. Maybe I'm just overestimating how many comments like this are actually happening but there is a LOT of bitching out there.
 
So theres like 10 different starfleet ships in that shot. I'm guessing thats the europa behind the Shenzhou
 
As we're coming close to premiere date, I'll unstick this thread, although of course continue to use it for Twitter posts and the like.

It certainly is different if that really will be it. Guess we'll find out tonite. ;)
TrekCore has confirmed that is the title sequence for the show, the only differences in the aired version will be the Actor and production credits.
