SNW is listed as filming from Feb - July 2021.
DSC S4: November to June --> Seven months. Minus one for holidays, so really six months.
SNW S1: February to July --> Five months.
So it sounds like DSC S4 will have 13 episodes and SNW will have 10.

Yup---Section 31 is back burner. I think Picard season 2 will go in front of cameras before Section 31.
Going to repost my reaction to seeing this news posted in another thread, but basically:

Not only is this a few weeks before the date that had been announced earlier in the summer as when season 4 would begin filming, but Ontario is on the verge of another lockdown and Prime Minister Trudeau has just declared earlier this week that Canada is in the midst of the second wave. Not conditions I would have thought it preferable to filming a TV show under.
Okay, reading this thread, I see principal photography isn't due to start until November which still seems a bit optimistic to me. And yes, I am aware that there are shows and movies that are filming again, including other places in Ontario, elsewhere in Canada and even in the US. It still seems hella unwise, IMO.
But, okay, enough doom and gloom. Assuming everything works out for the best, I guess this means we could have season 4 airing next fall?
