maybe security and damage control like on the kelvin enterprise's bridge.
I like my theory better.
funny enough, the artist who did the shenzhou bridge concept also worked on star trek online.
Well he did art for a version of Star Trek Online that never came out, not the one that is currently out.
I'm really hoping that we have Pike saying at some point, "can somebody turn up the goddamned lights?"
it's too bad the discovery crew isn't adopting pike's uniform style, rather than the other way around. would go a long way to making this show brighter if people didn't fall off into the contrasty lighting.
Please no, too 4th wall.
Can he say that he misses his old chair?
I don't see why not.
can he say he thinks the lighting makes him more mysterious?
Good, that was one of my favorite lines in Star Trek 5.
Pike: member when ships were grey? My bridge used to be predominantly grey. I wish we’d had all these screens and gold consoles in my day.
The Discovery is the only Starfleet ship that isn't grey
I know you were making a joke, but it kind of doesn't work, as a majority are still grey.
Well I meant the bridge but point taken
ah my bad, I thought you meant both exterior and interior.

This is really impressive modelling, so neat and precise. The amount of effort that goes into producing this show is amazing. I doff my cap!
