1. I love it. I haven't been this excited about Star Trek for years and years.

3. Boring answer, but it gotta be the three original amigos. I think Michael Burnham has a good chance to overtake all of them though. In every episode I'm in awe over how good Sonequa-Martin Green is.

1. Are you liking Discovery thus far?
I'm conflicted. I was cautiously optimistic after the first two episodes, but the secret black ops ship with ludicrous supertech angle of the third episode was a huge turn off.

2. What's your favourite Star Trek show?
TNG, closely followed by TOS. None of the other series come even close of these two.

3. Who's your favourite Star Trek character?
If I absolutely had to choose, I'd probably say Picard, though it is almost impossible to choose between him and Kirk. Spock is a close third.

4. What are your Top Five shows of all time?
ST:TNG, ST:TOS, Doctor Who, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Sherlock Holmes (Granada Television version)

There are a lot of great newer television series I really like such as American Gods, Orange is the New Black, the Legend of Korra or Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, but it is too early to list them among my all time favourites. The five I mentioned are ones I keep rewatching and returning to.

There are bits that really irk me, but I am trying to look past it and enjoy the particular story they are telling, rather than the world they have built so far.

Yes, quite a lot, actually. The delivery method initially soured me a bit, but after watching it, I came around (much as I expected I would, if I'm honest).

Deep Space Nine. I like more serialized stories, which is part of the reason I'm digging Discovery, so far.

Spock, probably, with Sisko coming in second. I really liked Data, when I was a kid.

Not at all. It being a prequel and so freaking grimdark ruins it for me.

Yes. I love it and have paid for CBS All Access to watch it.

As cheesy as the original series was, it’s still my favorite. I also have been enjoying Enterprise in reruns, though I prefer the first two seasons.

2. I have more than one. Spock, McCoy from the original series; Picard from The Next Generation; the Doctor from Voyager; Trip from Enterprise, though I also had a soft spot for Hoshi and Malcolm and T’Pol. I didn’t watch much of Deep Space Nine. I like Burnham, but Captain Lorca is currently my favorite Discovery character.
3. What are your Top Five shows of all time? The X Files, House, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Bones.
