Discovery final scene speculation

TimeIsAPredator

So how does everyone think Discovery will end ?
Will they just continue to fly like the TNG crew.
A big emotional goodbye like DS9.
Mothballed like TUC.
Will Riker walk out of a holodeck :D
Will the ship be destroyed or people die.

Personally I think it will be a variation of Calypso with Zora taking full control of the ship and going off to live as a sentient being.

Note: joke answers are fine but no hate watcher, edgelord shite.

They will finally invent blink-resistant holograms, protection suits that filter even unknown substances, and unbreakable badges.

Burnham all alone in her quarters all:

Why break the forumla?

With all the main cast with of course the Ever Important bridge crew and Admiral Vance assembled on the bridge, Michael delivers an impassioned speech about Meaning of Life Stuff. As this speech comes to a close, the camera pulls back until we see this is being displayed on a computer monitor. Reveal this monitor is being watched by Kovich, who then turns, stares directly into the camera and smiles enigmatically. Fade to black.

^ Got to have Riker in every series!

Missed Opportunity: Not having him CGIed into TOS-R. ;)

Serious Answer: I don't think they close the door completely. First, because they didn't know it would be the final season. Second, never say never. Even if they don't have any plans to go back to the 32nd Century right now, they might want to in the future, so they shouldn't box themselves into a corner.

Michael Burnham is elected President of the Federation, everybody cries.

Everybody. For the whole hour just blubbing.

Then a galaxy-ending crisis happens and they harness their ability to pause a crisis for an emotional heart-to-heart to not only stop this crisis but every subsequent crisis ever.

The universe is forever safe now. Star Trek is over. Peace reigns.

and while drunk and celebrating, Burnham tells Zora to park herself someplace safe 1000 years later
