Jeez, guy. it's free artwork for us to enjoy, made by someone else that they produced in an orthographic projection. You don't HAVE to complain about the effort you didn't make.

Do you know what is in those photos? Are you saying that if it's not line art without color, then it's not a true technical drawing?

It might be interesting to compare those fan renderings with the model that CBS provided to Eaglemoss …

Interesting! The new version doesn't look nearly as busy and over-detailed. The proportions of certain things are different and the "Excelsior"-style impulse deck is completely gone. I wonder now which is real and which is Memorex.

^ Oh, as I understand it, only the second one is “real”, as it is the model that was built for the show. The first one is just a fan rendition, as far as I know.

A shame, actually...I think I prefer the fan-made version more than the official version.
