Disco: One thing I wish we had seen

Why didn't we see some of the fallout from the Red Angel visiting Kaminar and what happened to the Ba'ul?

Unless of course, it was that single solitary one on the base ship or they were very few in number and relied on their technology to frighten people away...

NOTE: They only scanned Discovery's weapons, nothing else. So they wanted to see if they'd be outgunned in a fight. I wish Pike had called their bluff but then people would complain he's not being "Federation"
There was talk of following up, but there wasn't enough time, and this year they are 930 years in the future and one fewer episode.

I figure we'll get recap when Saru finds out what happened with the Kelpians and Ba'ul after Discovery left the 23rd Century.

Actually I hope we don't. It's 930 years after the 23rd century and after a major cataclysm. Depending on how long ago "The Burn" happened, one would think that historical information from that long ago is hard to come by, and more myth and legend, but we'll see.

Well I just burned (see what I did there) through season 2 to catch up again and there was a line in the finale that Spock says referring to Michael appearing at Kaminar for the Kelpians liberation so I guess that kind of infers that Ba'ul became either subservient to the Kelpians or they became extinct.
