As we approach the series finale of Picard, I'm interested in how many remember the last time the TNG crew waved goodbye to TV screens. May 23rd, 1994 - were you there?

I was two years old, so count me in the "no" crowd. I think I saw it on a rerun in the 00s.

Yup. Had a friend who was a huge TNG fan to my huge TOS fanness. Despite this disparity and arguments over Kirk v. Picard we both enjoyed it.

I was 10. My dad and I watched it and everyone else in my family was forbidden from entering the room and disturbing us while we were watching. Remember it vividly and happily.

Watched it when it first aired in my country. Not sure when that was exactly but it certainly wouldn't have been may 23rd, 1994.

I saw 1st, last & everything in-between when they 1st aired :techman:
How come if you’d care to share? I’m curious. :)
I don't dislike it myself, but I do have criticisms. The main one I have is that I find it slapdash, & the creators themselves have said things to make me think I'm not off base, given they were also prepping for the cinematic film, around that time too... so much so imho that it even has to overlook the fact that Picard is no rookie to thinking nonlinearly about time. Did he really need this lesson from Q, this way? & him acting as disoriented by the thing as he did is certainly explainable, but it does feel like it had to dumb him a bit for the narrative purpose

My friends and I got together and had a watch party. I saw Encounter at Farpoint when it came out too. I only ever missed a couple of episodes and had to watch reruns later. I have a lot of great memories of this show.
