I didn't care for the character too much at first, but he grew on me. "Q Who" was the episode where he had the most depth, I believe. The character was most annoying when he was just a silly antagonist for the sake of it, like in "Q-pid"

I didn't care for Q when I first saw him in Encounter at Farpoint. But by the time All Good Things came along, I had accepted him as being one of the main characters of TNG.

It's funny, he seemingly started out as a villain, but over the course of the series he evolved into an ally to Picard and the others (in his own strange way).

Q's lone appearence on DS9 was very awkward, and I was glad he never returned to vex Sisko. I never saw the Q Voyager shows, as I had stopped watching the series by the time he showed up.

I loved Q. I think TNG missed a good opportunity, by not including Q in any of the TNG films.

Never very keen on the character. Annoying. I know he was supposed to be, but I mean he was annoying to me as part of the audience, nevermind the characters themselves.

Dreading seeing his appearances on Voyager.

I accept I'm in a minority though!

Give the Voyager eps with Q a chance. I think he has great chemistry with Janeway. As good as Picards :)

And I love Q. I have his fan collection :D

I thought he was a moron. If I had the power of a God I wouldnt be wasting my time piddling with a lesser race. I would be chillingout somewhere enjoying myself.

I thought he was funny- but a jerk...
Good for comic relief... but clearly a childish member of a powerful race... I think most Q hopefully had better sense.

I like him:) Q brings some nice humour to TNG and lets not forget that he introduced the Borg to ther crew for the very first time. Other episodes with him where great, too.
And lets not forget John de Lancie, who gave good performance every time.

TNG Q was great. Each time it seemed, he was written better than the time before. DS9 Q was unnecessary but he had it's moments (such as Sisko hitting). Voyager Q was ok with Death Wish but then wasn't all that great, even though there were some moments in Q and the Grey that I liked.

Ranking the episodes:

Encounter at Farpoint: C
Hide and Q: C-
Q Who: A+
Deja Q: A
QPid: B- (A guilty pleasure, for sure)
True Q: B (Very underrated)
Tapestry: A+
All Good Things: A+

Q-Less: C-

Death Wish: B+
Q and the Grey: C
Q2: D

Yes, I thought he was a worthwhile character who seemed more at home in a TOS episode, but didn't come off nearly as campy as Apollo or Lincoln in space.

I mean, how can you not laugh at a naked Q materializing on the E-D's bridge? Or him making Data experience laughter, or constantly insulting Worf?

I as well liked John De Lancie as Q,
Did you know John De Lancie and Kate knew ea. other before VGR and they are friends, I think it shows a bit in the VGR eps.

I liked Q, he was always good at adding a little humor to the show.

When Next Generation first began I loved Q. Rewatching the series I all but loathed him in his first few appearances. It varied. A lot. I thought his first appearance on Voyager was outstanding. I loved Q-Who? The first time I saw it, but rewatching it I've found I don't enjoy it as much. Loooking back I like the character, but only because I'm able to block out a lot of his appearances.

I like 5 Q episodes:
Deja Q *****
Tapestry *****
All Good Things..., Parts I & II ****
Deathwish *****

And I loved the recent Q novel ("Q & A") by KRAD. ;-0)
