I believed as well. I also agree with tomalak301 in saying that it was 'part of the Christmas experiance.'

Yeah, i suppose i did. I don't remember when i stopped believing though. But as i grew up... Well, i never really grew up as you might have gathered, but you know what i mean. I kinda stopped believing. I still do the act for the kids though.

Yeh, I believed for at least the first few years of my life. I kind of figured it out sometime between 6-10, although I kept my revelation to myself. As others have said, it really helps the Christmas experience, and, well, it's extra presents.

for the current mythlogical version of santa(the past 100 years of so version of him), i belived he was real untill i was 6 or 7.

i would always remember in 1st to 3rd grade that around xmas time i would draw pictures of traps in the living room by the xmas tree to try to trap his fat ass in a bear trap(instead of a hunk of meat on the trap it would be a cookie.

I always find it funny that christians soon find out santa is not real when they grow up, but they still believe the guy in the sky(christian god) is real. they stop believing in one fairy tale yet they continue to believe in the other fairy tail.:guffaw:

Yes till I was 8 years old, because my 9 year old sister concocted an evil plot that involved tracking soot from the fireplace around the carpet with boots, and ringing bells outside so I believed he visited.

Very funny. TNZ, where you can step on peoples beliefs, is that way. ->

What people do or do not believe in is their business. Who are you so simply laugh at them.
(yes im a catholic, but thats beside the point. I would say the same if any other religion was in question.)

No--a look at my avatar would give you a hint why. ;)

But we celebrated Christmas in a low-key way with our Christian relatives. Still, I can't remember ever believing in Santa.

While I agree with LunarYoma in principle, nothing is funnier than claims of intellectual superiority that are riddled with spelling errors. Fairy tail? Seriously? :guffaw:

I tried to tell myself that I believed, but I think I always subconsciously knew it was a lie. Or, a FAAAAAKE.

At a very very early age i did, but one year i caught my dad assembling a train set of Xmas eve when i sneaked to the living room door one year and peeked in to see both parents putting out all the presents.
