If it makes you feel any better, I don't think the NX does appear in the Conference Lounge display case... There are six starships there and one of them must surely be the current Enterprise-E. Although a U.S.S. Archer does appear named in his honor, as part of the taskforce list in the Stellar Cartography scene...Originaly I was going to say that ENTERPRISE didn't happen in the ''PRIME'' universe where Spock comes from, it only takes place in J.J.'s Verse, But then I rememberd ''TATV''And the NX-O1 model ''NOW'' in the 'ENTERPRISE' lineage display case in NEMESIS, So apparently it does happen in ''BOTH'' Universes.

ENT isn't a prequel to TOS, it is a sequel to ST 8: First Contact.
Are you sure? I coulda swore I saw a miniature NX-O1 in that display caseIf it makes you feel any better, I don't think the NX does appear in the Conference Lounge display case... As a side note, I loved how ENT returned the favour - using Valdore as the name of the Romulan Admiral in charge of the remote Drone marauder program in the Babel One trilogy.
Not if First Contact was the ''Prequal'' to this, NU-TREKENT isn't a prequel to TOS, it is a sequel to ST 8: First Contact.
Oh, good, then it's gone.
Ah, the memories.^Star Trek Enterprise happened in both timelines, it is canon, it is the fifth (or sixth if you count TAS) constituent part of the franchise. Its been *years* now, can we get over this shit?
How soon they forget, eh, Stewey?Your decision...your freedom. But remember...even the vast majority of TREK fans disagree with your definition of ENT's canon, even if they didn't like the show.(Actually, of the three, I think only eddie has been here long enough to have been in the ENT forum then.)
I was in the ENT forums when I was the resident Jolene Blalock basher.Remember my skreeds when I didn't like her OR T'Pol? Ugh. Hard to believe I started life in the "Series V"/ENT forums as such a buzzkill and one-note hack.
Just wait for "Faith of the Heart" to play in the background during the love scene and you have your answer.

I plan on singing it during the opening credits.![]()
Star Trek: Enterprise happened, since until certain events, they were the same Universe.
I really have to disagree with you there.
When you compare the events of Enterprise to the references to Ents timeline from the other shows, the two cannot be reconciled. Enterprise could not possibly lead to the TOS/TNG/DS9/Voyager as they were seen on screen.
Enterprise could have redeemed itself by using the TCW (a truly horrible idea in the first place in my view) as a way to explain why Enterprise contradicts the other shows so glaringly. I think it could have brought many fans back to that show, perhaps even me.
as for enterprise..
really it had far less canon errors then many fans claimed.
and tos itself as noted before had its own issues at time with canon.
Whether or not any particular show had errors or not, I would never consider that to be a justification for the carelessness of B&B when they came up with Enterprise.
The odd genuine mistake in an individual episode can be forgiven but for me it is unforgivable to be so careless when it comes to the entire premise for a prequel series set in the past of a universe with 40 years worth of content.
I appreciate and accept that people simply want to be entertained, but for me I simply can't be entertained by a show that metaphorically sticks two fingers up to TOS and the series that followed.
I must have fallen through a space-time vortex. I could swear I saw a post by Stewey a while ago.
He is going to love the old Porthos in the new movie.
Hi Cyrus, porthos was the only character I did like.![]()
^ During the time that Enterprise was on the air, Stewey held forth weekly in depth and in great detail upon those, I can assure you, to a degree which will likely never be surpassed by any mortal. Quite eloquent he was, but don't think that's quite what this thread or this forum are really about.

As the new movie takes place in an alternate universe, how do you feel about 'Enterprise' being in the past of this new universe, and not the past of the regular TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY one?

I geuss I''ll have to look again to be sure, Unless someone here already has a ''Screenshot'' of the sceene I'm talking about. Also I never noticed that about the ''Babel One'' arc!
that's gotta be proff positive ENTERPRISE is indeed ''Canon''
I believe I'm aware of the individual to whom you refer, but close? Meh. He's a piker, by comparison (and also outside the scope of this thread and this forum.^ During the time that Enterprise was on the air, Stewey held forth weekly in depth and in great detail upon those, I can assure you, to a degree which will likely never be surpassed by any mortal. There's someone in BSG who is close (entire manifestos on why he hates such-and-such episode), but he doesn't do it on a daily/hourly basis like Stewey did.
