Agreed on the Uhura scream in the Sargon episode. VERY creepy and effective. Makes one wonder what kind of hideous, unsettling telepathic image he projected into her mind. UGH.
Did Chekov get injured a lot ?

Chekov always seemed to be the fall guy. Other than the series, he got some pretty good lumps in the movies as well. In TMP, he suffered hand burns on the bridge. Then in TWOK, there's the funny scene where Khan, using his super strength, picks him up while he's wearing the space suit. Then Chekov suffers when Khan implants that worm that allows him to take over his mind. Eventually, it's removed when it drops out of his ear. Also in TVH, Chekov's badly injured after falling off the Enterprise (the Navy ship), leading to Kirk and McCoy to dress in scrubs in order to rescue him from the hospital.
You know who got injured a lot? Spock. There was the time he got shot with thorns and struck by lightning; the time he got possessed by a space parasite and blinded; the time he got shot and slapped around; the time some bimbo cut out his brain; the time he went into heat; the time he died....
In "The Apple" not only did Spock get hit by the thorns and lightning, he later runs into Vaal's force field. When that happened there was a look on the other people's faces saying "Wow, he's quite the punching bag today". I always chuckle at that scene.

IIRC, Spock screamed when he interfaced with the Medusan without his groovy red glasses in "Is There In Truth No Beauty". He also screamed when he melded with Ilia's throat scanner thingy in TMP.
And when he touched and melded with the Mother Horta.
The PAIN!!! The PAIN!!! Someone get that man an aspirin.
And a pizza cutter! That Horta looked like an old Fox de Luxe microwave pizza.
I was always fond of Celeste myself. 
Either way, Spock looked like he was being attacked by a giant store-bought, refrigerated Italian food product.

Well, his feelings were apparently hurt or even shattered when he thought Kirk died during the maiden voyage of the Enterprise-B in GENERATIONS.
Nothing said, "We're Back!" better than the Chekov scream in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Heh -- they should keep it for future Trek productions. Like the way Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan yell has remained in use long after the role was recast and recast and recast again. The yell remains. I think the classic Walter Koenig Checkov scream could do the same.
