Did anyone ever see this at any of the first Sci-Fi cons?

Around 74 or so, in Tulsa* I distinctly remember someone had drawn a very crude parody of 'Where No Man Has Gone Before". And was selling copies of them. It was about 15 (?) pages. And the only joke I remember was:

Mitchell: "I'll crush you! Crush you like elephants!!"
Kirk: "Thinks big doesn't he?"

*Back when they'd show the bloopers, and episodes and sci-fi movies like The Day the Earth Stood Still and Forbidden Planet. All totally illegal I'm sure, but man... ten-year old me wandering around by himself never had a better time.

Turns out my years were off and it wasn't even one of the first Star Trek conventions. Thats 77

It was all just so crude and the movie and episode viewings plainly illegal that it felt like it. But again I had a blast

All of the early Star Trek conventions tended to have a lot of "questionably" legal stuff on display, or for sale (stolen scripts - illegal copies of this or that...).

Lots of oddball costumes (mostly home made) and people just having fun talking (or debating...or arguing) about their favorite Sci Fi show(s) of the era. Ton's o' fun for everyone!

Fanlore doesn’t seem to know anything about that WNM parody, Which makes it pretty obscure.
