Did anybody like ICHEB!

Not a very creative thread this one, but I am doing a rerun of all of my voyager boxsets, and I have reached the point of the Borg kids.

the others I can forgive, due to them not staying very long, but Icheb.

I have nothing but hatred for him.

I am more indifferent than anything about Icheb, but he reminded me too much of Wesley Crusher.

He never bothered me AFAICR, certainly not to the extent of Weasley.

Plus he delivered a great smackdown to Seven in the episode where her neural handwavium device needed to be replaced.

I liked him. I saw him as Wesley Crusher done right - as in not as annoying and not in every episode.

Out of the Borg children Mezoti was cool...it was a shame they didn't keep her around...she was way less annoying than Naomi.

Naomi never bothered me, and i could even put up with jake.

but icheb and wesley should of gotten the airlock treatment.

I liked him. Icheb was a great example of the sort of good recurring characters I wish the show had more of. I'll also agree with Admiral Shran that he was Wes, only handled well from the get-go; Icheb was definitely a genius, but he wasn't there all the time, and he didn't eclipse our heroes. Can't remember who mentioned it, but I saw some Voyager write-up a while ago that mentioned that Icheb and Vorik should've had an episode together, and I think it's too bad they never did that.

Jake Sisko was actually a good character. So was Nog.

And all I am saying is I don't really have a stong opinion either way about Icheb. He was better than Wesley by a 1000%, but still reminded me too much of him for me to warm to Icheb.

I liked Ichep, Mezoti, Naomi, Jake, Nog, Molly was okay..

There were no children on ENT.

I agree Icheb and his parents was a great episode.

I hated all of the Borg Babies at first, but they didn't end up being as annoying as I expected. By the end of the show, I didn't mind Icheb at all. Imperfection was a good episode for him, and I had a lot more respect for him as a character after that point.
