Diamond Select Toys Ent-D. Where to get?

Hey guys.

I really want this beauty, but I can't find it anywhere cheap.

It was sold in Star Trek Official Homepage, but it isn't there anymore.

On Amazon, it's too expensive (over 200). It was about 40-50€ in StarTrek.com. I searched from google for it, but it every page I went: Too expensive or sold out... :/

If I can't find it, I have to buy Ent-E. It isn't bad, but Galaxy Class is my favourite starship class and I'd like to get it.

This may not be in your price range, but I saw them on Ebay for around $100-$125. Which kinda makes me sick because I saw one at my local Hastings for $50 just before Christmas. I thought that was too expensive! Sheesh!!

Keep watching ebay. You'll eventually find what you want at a lower price, it's just a matter of patience.

I'd wait on it. They probably just sold out of the first run and the second hasn't shown up in stock yet. They said they needed 2 whole runs to sell out to break even due to the cost of the design, so rest assured it will be back. They'll probably fix the defects this time around too. No crappy decals for the patient...

I think STR means one is bound to pop up in time. Your just gonna have to wait it out and check in every week or so.

Or wait for a second run of models? I think I read somewhere AA/DST were considering it, especially due to the initial run having the missing neck decals.

^AA/DST needsa second run because the mold was so expensive to develop that they wouldn't turn a profit even if they sold out the entire first batch. The inter-hull defect is just something that's fixable in a second run.

I've just checked Diamond's retailer website, and it shows that Diamond currently has it in stock, so you should be able to get a comic shop to order one for you.

Yeah. I have a Diamond retailer account (which is how I can check that it's in stock), but I'm not going to order one for you.

You don't have to. If the Ent-D doesn't show up on Startrek.com or on Finnish shops, I'll order the Ent-E. Too difficult.

Heh, fair enough. The Ent-E is a nice model too, and if you can wait for a second run of E-D's your gonna get a better product anyhow, so I guess its all for the best.

I got one of the early ones that didn't have the decals of windows on the neck. The sound chip also became stuck. They told me to break off the nacelles and send it back. I sent the whole thing back because I couldn't make myself break it and haven't heard back. I bought it at big bad toystore, where I have the All Good things version on backorder...

Same here with the refit STII Enterprise. It was $30. Now the only place I find it is selling it for $150. Oi...
