Destruction of Vulcan

Isn't there a difference between an alternate timeline and a parallel universe?
Anyway, do not make fun of me.
I'm not.

To me, alternate timelines and parallel universes are one in the same. Something that causes a tangent, resulting in a different perspective. So, for me, Kelvin Universe is in line with the Mirror Universe, Worf's various parallel universes, and Lazarus' universe from TOS.

The biggest thing for me is looking for when did it change. In Kelvin Universe, it changes with Nero's incursion with the Narada. From that point forward, things are able to be different. Mirror Universe was when First Contact with Vulcans ended with Cochrane shooting the Vulcan and stealing their tech and becoming conquerors.

Etc.

lol well the destruction of vulcan never happened in both the classic original series timeline and in the reboot of the original series timeline

only happened in the jj abrhams timeline

Is this somehow in question?
It is not, nor was there anything new contributed worth waking up a thread which has been inactive for more than a year.

Welcome to the forum, @camdudetenger2018. Enthusiasm is good, but please try to be a little more judicious in the future about posting in older threads (i.e., go for less "Lol, duh" and more for substantial). Closing this one.
