I had to google for a while. I knew I'd seen the font somewhere, I thought it might've been on books from the 70's.

I like collecting fonts. Over 2200 on my computer.

Our own @The Lensman identified the font as Trek Disruptor Blast in a thread about 6 years ago. It doesn't have that line through the middle from the ship.

How weird!! When I tried to search for that font I couldn’t find it! Mind you I probably just used the wrong key words as it did lead me to the logo.
