Deja Vu or something. Anyone ever felt like this?

Has anyone ever felt like this? That deja vu kind of feeling like you had done something before yet not actually done it at all? Or you have seen something but just had that feeling like you have seen it before or feel like you know it.

Just lately I've been feeling this way a lot of things I do I feel like I've done them already if that makes sense.

Yeah, it happens pretty frequently. It's pretty freaky because when it does, it can happen beat for beat. My brain will be like, "Wait, I know this!" Even when the situation or environment is brand new, I can sometimes feel the moments leading up to them. Even locations and people can be familiar. Kind of makes you feel like there's an alter-ego in some other universe experiencing all this stuff in a different time frame.

Kind of. It's not just that it's sometimes people you meet too.

Yeah, and I think it varies for everyone. For me personally, It can get pretty detailed. People, their clothing and conversations. It's certainly a weird feeling. It's like we get prepared for these moments in our subconciousness.

Oh yes, quite frequently. Oddly enough, it used to happen to me much more often when I was younger. You'd think that you'd get more of these as you grow older and gain more experience, but it hasn't happened in my case.

I suffer from what George Carlin called vuja de - the strange feeling that none of this has ever happened before.

I'd experienced it in the past, but not as recently in the last few years... Also, the concept ranks right up there with the Mandolin Effect and Murphy's Soapy Law...

I never got the hype with the mandela effect thing, I think there was too much self suggestion about that

I do and I fucking hate it. The first time I got it was the first time I used pot and I super over indulged. My ex, who used it as pain killers, gave me her dose in capsules. I tripped for days. Everything is a time loop and I experienced my life birth the death over and over again and there is no free will and consciousness and free will is a lie and we are doomed to walk, every thought, movement, action, predetermined and experience the pain of life over and over and over again for all eternity and the worst part is there are times, such a deathx when yous ee the truth and that brings on the true horror.

Anyway, ever since then I get deja vu sometimes and then I experience episodes of disassociate/derealization, thinking about the lack of free will and consciousness being a fraud. Had a light one watching Black Adam this past Tuesday.

This is my experience as well. It seems their occurrence lessens with age. I cannot remember an occurrence in, must be, maybe more than 30 years ago.

Yep. I remember one where I had a dream that I was in school and some teachers were talking. The next day, saw the same two teachers were talking in the same situation as in the dream.
