Defiant successor (ghiottone class) W.I.P

^ Still super slick and pretty. Kind of like a stealth version of the original Defiant. It didn't dawn on me before, but it also kind of looks like the 32nd century version of the ship we would expect to see in Discovery.

Thanks. Since Discovery is not longer on netflix in my country I had to google the 32nd century ships. I can see some similaritys to the ones wich go in the direction the USS Nog goes. Especially with the red decals.

Maybe I should try to make a version inspired by the Janeway class. I took some time....but after stairing at it for like 20 minutes I really start to like it.

I can't remember right now where you were from, but in many countries season four of Discovery can now be watched for free via the pluto.tv app. It airs every Friday evening with repeats running over the weekend. Works like a charm for me, so maybe for you as well. :)

Don’t know how I missed this until now, but your design is a worthy and believable successor to the Defiant… very slick!

(I hope you get your DSC situation sorted out. ViacomCBS has really botched the international Paramount+ rollout. :angryrazz:)

I did not know this even existed. Well....it seems like it is time to consume my star trek like we used to do in the old days. I can already feel my long lost connecton to the ancient ways coming back....this forgotten feeling of joy I used to have every time I looked at the clock, noticing that the small window of time when I can enjoy my series came a little bit closer again.

Thank you.

Its not like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the new DSC season. But I (highly) prefer it over Picard. It finally became its own thing and then it just vanished from my netflix.

You like Bugatti don't you !

Lovely work.

Thanks.

Yeah...I basically like everything that even remotely resembles something that could be designed by bertone or pininfarina. That definately includes some Buggatis.

No kidding, that's exactly how it is for me right now. So far season four of Discovery isn't much of an improvement for me over last season's let-down, but still, that experience of watching it “live” on TV as it were is pretty cool, exciting and nostalgic. :)
