Too bad.
Some of the stuff I would want would not be sold in stores (mostly classic film stuff), so I was really looking forward to this sale.
But now there is no chance at all of finding a really good price on anything during this 'sale'...and frankly, that sort of sale only creates negative goodwill, IMO.
I'd rather support a company that has no sale at all than one who's 'sale' is manipulated to the point where it's actually more expensive than it would have been otherwise.
I guess they will reel in a few people who are not willing to shop around. But I won't be one of them.

The sale hasn't been worth it for a couple of years now. I stopped even looking for it back then. The prices went up before the sale, or they didn't have something in stock. When I could regularly find several things I wanted cheaper elsewhere even with the supposed big sale, I stopped waiting for the magical codes and sales.
