In season 12, yes - that's a slow-building crossover of all the at-the-time current TV shows, so by the end of it I'm writing for characters from TNG, Voyager and even Enterprise. And the DS9 setting itself definitely broadens from just being set on Bajor and the station, we go a lot of other places inside and outside the Federation.
