Deep Space Nine follow-on books

^^Personally, I didn't like it that much when I read it all those years ago before the relaunch was around. Can't remember exactly why all I remember is I skipped huge sections to get to the end so I'd be done with it, so I guess I must have found it somewhat boring at the time.

That's not to say you won't enjoy it though.

Overall the relaunch has been great. But I'd like to see some more novels that are set prior to WYLB. Or, even better, prior to the onset of the Dominion War.

Yes it is. That book very much reminds me of This Side of Paradise. Essentially it's a story about coming of age and seeing the for the world for what is, instead of how you thought it would be.
