Decon chamber sucked

Indeed. :vulcan: I also have no hang-ups about breast implants...

Like tatoos, I prefer them in their absence but, being a 21st century boy who has made use of various forms of the companionship trade, I've learned to tolerate them.

I should add that I saw Jolene on The Bronx Bunny (a profane talk show hosted by a puppet rabbit and his panda roommate--it was on Starz) once and I thought she was very charming. That she was a genuine trekkie is also a plus--believe me, I'd mortgage a good portion of my soul to have a girl like her irl, I just think T'Pol's sex appeal (as opposed to Ms. Blalock's) was over-sold, emphasis on "sold."

That seems to be the common factor in why many people who have stated they think T'Pol and Seven of Nine are unattractive. What bothers me is that usually this is in the form of disparaging remarks about things like breast implants, lip injections, and in Jolene Blalock's case, they often accuse her of having an eating disorder. I've also seen more than one make a disparaging remark about her for having a "boy cut" and indicate that the only acceptable hair style for a woman to have is something at least shoulder length, and the longer the better. Not that I'm accusing you of anything, I'm just explaining why what you said touched a nerve.

For my part, what bothered me the most about T'Pol's early appearance was the lack of angled eyebrows, and that ugly brown spandex catsuit TPTB tried to pass off as a "uniform" (even though no other Vulcan officer was ever seen to wear one like it). The season 3 look was an improvement as far as her actual look (as in more like a Vulcan), but her catsuits were still catsuits. Ditto for season 4, which to me is made worse by the fact that since she was supposed to have been a Starfleet officer, she should have worn a Starfleet uniform like everyone else instead of just slapping a patch and some pips on her existing catsuits.

I liked the sky blue number she wore because it had a real retro pulp feel to it--I wish Enterprise had a lot of more of that. I'd have been tickled purple if the prequel to TOS looked like a cross between Jules Verne and Flash Gordon (within reason). For the same reason, I dug the updated Andorians.
